General Applications: Strong acids alkalis, Oxygen chlorine gas, Flange parts for organic solvent, Gaskets for electric insulation flange.

The standard design for use where highly abrasive media will not be encountered. This is the most economical type of PTFE envelope gasket.
Also called straight
U-type. It provides continuity with the pipeline bore across a flange joint for smooth fluid flow.
Generally denoted by the term U-rounded. This design has a smooth surface finish. It can be used for diameters over 300mm and readily adapts to non-circular planforms.
